You can interpret this however you wish to build it, I know some people who just glue a DIL socket onto an edge connector and have all the parts connected together
from that part (having a socket is useful in case the amp should ever fail, then its easily replaced!) I prefer to keep things neat myself and mount the amp on a
piece of stripboard I then mount the whole thing onto the JAMMA fingerboard.
